Originalfotografi (230 mm. x 270 mm.) troligen från sekelskiftet av en underbar buss som enligt text på sidan trafikerar sträckan "Sjöbo-Hörby" samt "Ysta-Lund" (det står Ysta utan "d". ) Från förarplatsen kikar chauffören, iförd skärmmössa, ut medan fem arbetsklädda män står uppradade för kameran bak kylaren. En av dem iförd s. k. kubb. Fotografiet är monterat på tjockt papp. Nere t. h. står i blyerts "Meyer (eller Weuer), Malmö. Fotot i mycket god kondition, en del fläckar och skav på pappen.

Titel och signatur med hela namnet med blyerts på baksidan. Black and white silver gelatin print with the title "Dublin" 1967" of a small girl sitting obviously very happy in a small vehicle with a basket in her hand. Printed some years ago. Size 300 mm. x 240 mm. Superb condition.
    Fotografen Jean Hermanson, född 1938, har sitt ursprung i Norrahammar i Småland och bor numera i Malmö. Han tillhör den legendariska generation av svenska fotografer som bl. a. utbildade sig hos Christer Strömholm och Tor Ivan Odulf i Stokholm i slutet av 1950-talet. Han framstår som den ledande fotografen av svenska industriarbetare i allmänhet och kanske gjutare i synnerhet. Han har även fotograferat i Dublin och i Paris, i Vietnam och Guinea Bissau i Afrika under flera decennier. Han har, ofta i samarbete med författare, gett ut ett antal böcker om svenskt arbetsliv. De senaste 25 åren har han dessutom gjort ett antal dokumentärfilmer tillsammans med undertecknad och på egen hand. The Swedish photographer Jean Hermanson belong to the legendary generation of Swedish photographers educating himself at the photo school in Stockholm held by Christer Strömholm and Tor Ivan Odulf in the end of the 50ties. He has since distinguished himself as the leading everyday life photographer in Sweden, especially in factories and foundries but also in Vietnam, Africa, Dublin and Paris. The last 30 years has he also made a number of acknowledged documentary films together with Torgny Schunnesson (that's me) and on his own.

Signerad med hela namnet med blyerts på baksidan. Kopia gjord för några år sedan. Mycket god kvalitet. Black and white silver gelatin print (size 295 mm. x 220 mm.) from the metro in Paris. An old woman has fell asleep on the bench under a publicity poster with a ballet dancer and you get the impression that the young woman i standing on the old womens shoulder. Printed some years ago. Fine condition. Signed in pencil in full name on the reverse.

En bild med mycket atmosfär. Daterad och signerad på baksidan med blyerts. Kopia tillverkad får några år sedan. Myckt god kvalitet. Black and white silver gelatin print (300 x 240 mm. with white borders) of a lonely dog in a lonely staircase looking curios at what's going on and with the daylight falling in from a window behind. A lot of atmosphere. Printed a few years ago. Fine condition. Signed and dated in pencil on the reverse.

    Vackert och välbevarat oblong-folio album i rött klot med svart och blindpressad dekor samt förgylld text "Karlstad i bilder" på främre pärm. Dekorerade försättsblad. Nga. svaga fläckar och lätt slitna hörn, annars i bra kondition. Ingen annan text än den präglad i fotografierna. Albumet innehåller 12 svart och vita, samtida, originalfotografier från Karlstad plåtsignerade J. Jaeger, Kgl. Hoffotograf. Bilderna mäter 258 mm. x 195 mm. och är utan undantag i mycket hög kvalitet och välbevarade. Varje bild är numrerad och försedd med rubrik i plåten nertill. Albumet innehåller: Carlstad N.o 1.     Johannes Jaeger, fotograf med tyskt ursprung, öppnade ateljé i Stockholm 1861 och blev snabbt en av huvudstadens populäraste och mest ansedda fotografer. Han anses bl. a. vara den förste svenske reportage-fotografen för sina bilder från öppnandet av industri-utställningen i Stockholm. Namnet Jaeger levde kvar i Stockholm ända in på 1960-talet. Han är en av det svenska fotografiets pionjärer.

Photographs in colour. ; One of 40 special copies with a C-print (300 x 245 mm.) numbered, signed and dated on the reverse. These 40 copies are provided with 4 different prints, each print in 10 copies. Our copy is number 6 of 10 with mummy half nude taking a nap in a shadow corner of a terrace.
    This touching photo book is about Nina Korhonens Finnish grandmother Anna. She was married and had a daughter in Finland when she, encouraged by her husband, went on the trip of her dreams to America in 1959. She more or less happened to stay there. Finally living in Brooklyn, New York. Every summer did she visit her husband and daughter with family in Finland - and every winter did her husband Kalle visit her in New York. The six last years of her life did she live under the sun in Florida. Anna died 83 years old, 2000. During several years did Anna's granddaughter Nina visit her and she documented her everyday life. That become this wonderful book. It was selected the best photobook in Sweden in 2004.

A supberb b/w vintage original photograph, size 150 mm x 205 mm. with the Swedish author Selma Lagerlöf sitting in a room at Mårbacka listening on radio with a headset. No date, but around 1930. Signed in ful name by Selma Lagerlöf.
    Selma Lagerlöf was the first woman in history to get the Nobel Prize in literature 1909. Two years earlier did she publish the success novel The Wonderful Adventures of Nils Holgerson. On this photo is she sitting in a room at Mårbacka, the family mansion in Värmland, listening on radio with a headset. Reverse is a pasted text in English from the time: "Dr. Selma Lagerloff, a famous Swedish woman known as the world's foremost woman writer and winner of the Nobel Prize, photographed at her residence at Vaermland, Sweden. Additional text is: "O.P. S. Dr Selma Lagerloef "tuning in" on her wireless set." The photograph is signed by Selma Lagerlöf in full name below a bit to the left. The signature is a bit weak. In the book "Selma på Mårbacka" 1996 do the authors tell that when this picture was published in a German newspaper did the company Telefunken send her a more modern as a gift.
    The photo comes with the front of an old envelope stating that the photo belongs to Dir. Henry Odéen, chief at the Town Hotel in Karlstad (near Mårbacka) and that he got it as a gift directly from Selma Lagerlöf.

En bit av kyrkan framifrån och med tre unga kvinnor och en hund i förgrunden. Titeln präglad nertill i plåten. Där finns också präglat nummer "1369". liksom fotografen Axel Lindahls namn t. h. Bilden, som mäter 22.5 cm. x 16.5 cm. är något blekt, men i bra kondition.

Some marks in the black frame of the photo not concerning the image. Fine quality.

    Softbound oblong - 4o bound with a cord in one end. One of the photographs is i miniature-photo on front board. This has lost a piece in the right part. Some folds to wrappers extremities.The photographs are 230 mm x 165 mm. The have light scratches which you hardly can see. They depict Botafogo, Vista Parcial, Copacabana, Ihla de Paqueta, O Pao de Açucar, Vista Chineza, Avenidfa Getulio Vargas, Avenido Rio Branco and, the last one, is two photographs put together: Panorama do Coacovado.

    Touring New York. An original photograph ( 18 cm. x 13 cm.) mounted on a grey pasteboard (25,5 cm. x 20.5 cm. ) with green text. Not dated, but around 1920. A very nice vintage print with around 30 persons in elegant dresses and hats, sitting in an open car (only the horses are missing). A boy on the street leaning towards the wagon behind gives this photo an extra touch.
    This is a souvenir from "Touring New York" Automobiles. On the reverse it says that these tours start from hotel Bartholdi, Brodway, and Twenty-Third street, embracing all points of interest in New York. All automobiles accompanied by uniformed guide speaking principal languages. "Fare round trip $ 1. 00 " But evening tours to Chinatown and the Bowery exists also. "Fare $ 2.00 including expenses. " These souvenir photographs were numbered, so duplicates could be ordered. Here it´s a bit difficult to se the Negative No. Could be 10/0. These were "The Green cars. " Minor wear to corners and small marks on reverse, but an item in very good condition.

Binding a bit worn to extremities. Some browning to cardboard margins and reverse linen, while the photographs are in good condition. They are Aberdeen from Balnagsk, Castle Street looking west, Union Street looking east, Castle Street looking east, The Denburn Valley, Marischal College, King Street and King´s College. Missing are Old Aberdeen Cathedral and The Brig O´Balgownie. Inside rear board text about the photographs. Contemporary name discrete in cardboard margin inside front board.

The photographs' size is 260 mm. x 210 mm. It´s not dated but around 1900. In the foreground a yong carrier with vegetables (?) by the river besides a lonley tree. On the other side of the river the railway station. Slightly faded in colours, else very good condition.
