This set of 4 catalogues from Sotheby´s in London is dated September 1988 and comes in an illustrated and laminated slipcase which is a bit worn. Added is a large silver vintage printed head and shoulder photograph of Sir Elton John in hat and sunglasses. The photograph is inscribed in blue pen in full name on a gray field besides his face: "To Marc. Best wishes Elton John." The photograph is slightly browned, else in fine condition. The four (4) richly illustrated catalogues describes in detail the stunning collection of Stage Costumes, Memorabilia, Art Nouveau and Art Deco objects, Jewellery and Diverse collections of this outstanding artist.
