Hardbound 8vo ( 130 x 200 mm.) in a contemporary mottled ful calf binding. Spine with gilt flowers in every compartment and title label in red. Head and foot of spine with old skilfull repair. At foot of spine a "P" in gilt. Probably an exlibris. Red edges and marbled endpapers. Mildly rubbed, but a very good binding. Interior only a few occasional spots, mostly crisp and clean. A broad margined copy illustrated with two folding, engraved, plates. One depicts the sun as described by Kircher & Scheiner in 1635 and the other the heaven. This book quit simple points out the fire of the hell (it's on the sun.) for sinners. Title printed in red and black with small engraving. (XVI), 222 pages + 2 folded engravings.
