Hardbound 4:o in a nice red half chagrin binding with marbled boards. Spine lettered and decorated in gilt. Decorated end-papers. Mild fading to spine and minimal wear to board edges, else fine condition. Inside fine with only scarce spots. A pleasant book with numerous full page plates in black and white and colour, some of them tissue-guarded, and with facsimiled letters from Daumier and Gavarni. Not paginated.
