Small, thick 8vo in a bit later, green half leather binding with gilt decorated spine and marbled boards, endpapers and edges. Red, gilt lettered title on spine. Binding a bit rubbed to extremities and on spine, but not too heavy and tight and firm. Front endpapers and title with minor foxing, else a clean and crisp copy. Autographed text on front free endpaper: Hayth (?) Grosvenor from his grandfather... (can't read the name) Oct. 19th 1937."Illustrated with numerous fullpage engravings and also many in the text. Frontispiece, XVI, 720 p. + engravings. One engraving with small paperloss in margin not affecting the image. A nice copy.
